Fans of the former Northgate favorite will be thrilled to hear that the owners of La Bodega Baja Taco Bar have plans to reopen later this year in the old Mad Taco location on Greens Prairie Road in south College Station.
“Version 2.0 will feature what it’s famous for along with signature ceviche, calamari, crab cakes, and more,” said Costa Dallis.
The original location opened in Northgate in October 2000 and was there until the sale of the property in 2014.

Caprock Development is pleased to announce the sale of its 6,500 SF, two-tenant restaurant building located at 1664 Greens Prairie Rd. in College Station. The building is 100% leased to tenants Mad Taco and RX Pizza. Caprock handled all aspects of the development, construction, management and disposition of the asset. The sales price and buyer was not disclosed.
